Sometimes when you start a quest… you begin to realize how the wheels of destiny can move at warp speed.
The fictional town of Malvo doesn’t know it yet, but there has been a new player in town.
The little-known country town, alongside other cites such as Everest, Wawa, and Haydon, has launched a campaign to convince Chris Hemsworth to come make an appearance at the Malvo Community Festival. And, boy, have they pulled it off.
Five years ago, he announced to fans that his next movie was going to be ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ with his brother, Mark Ruffalo, as The Hulk. But now, a little-known town in Australia wants him to show up at their festival to dance with six-year-old boy Blake.

And, now, he has taken to Instagram to announce that it’s happening.

Blake was flown to Melbourne for Hemsworth’s support.
Fans of the 31-year-old are taking to social media to commend the crowdsourcing initiative.
What was it exactly like to be flown to Melbourne for a party to celebrate that the “Thor” actor is coming to the town. 😂😂😂😂. We’re SO happy! @theblakehuss 😘😘🎉🎉😘😘 Thank you.❤️ — Jasmine Wilson (@JasmineBWilson) September 27, 2018
